Safe housing for the price of a candy bar

SAFE HOUSING is urgent and more important than ever for our students in Haiti right now.

For only $1.24 a day – the price of a candy bar - you can offer safe housing to a Haitian at-risk student.

Haiti is in a deep humanitarian crisis. Armed gangs are terrorizing the streets, violating women, burning down houses, and killing innocent people. Our students are living in constant fear. About 2.2 million people live in shanty towns in Port-au-Prince in homes made of corrugated iron, plastic, and wood. Many of our students come from these slums. Kids Connection Haiti provides better, saver homes for at-risk students, concrete houses with a lock on the door, that they share with three other students.

Today, 32 of our young adults are in need of saver housing. We can't do this alone - we need help to pay their rent.

May we count on you to help keep our students safe?

Sincerely,
Astrid
