US Team and Board of Directors
Astrid de Vries
Founder and President
Astrid left the Netherlands in 1998 to volunteer for an orphanage in Haiti. Caring for the orphans became her passion, and she stayed for four years. Later she moved to Washington DC where she founded KCH in 2009, inspired by the young adults she had met as little kids. Her compassion and dedication to helping marginalized young adults in Haiti are the force behind the success of KCH.
