2023 Impact Report

Accomplishments:

  • 74 Students received full-time education in 2022-2023

  • 112 Students receive full-time education in 2023-2024

  • 25 additional Students were enrolled at KCH Mobile STARS in 2023

  • 19 KCH Students graduated in 2023.

2022 Impact Report

In addition to providing access to high school, trade school, and university for 75 young men and women, generous friends like you contributed to these amazing events as well: One young woman received life- saving surgery. Four group community service projects took place. Six students did Internships. Eight received dental care. Ten students graduated. Twelve aspiring entrepreneurs attended micro-business training. Thirty new students participated in professional orientation week. Seventy-five (all students) received emergency food support.

The Kids Connection Haiti (KCH) mission is to empower at-risk young adults in Haiti to become contributing, self-sufficient members within their communities through education, life skills training, community service, mentorship, and career development.

  • January: KCH organizes peace concert by invitation of the US embassy  

  • February: ‘No means No’ women’s empowerment workshop  

  • March: Public park total waste free - students’ community service  

  • April: Students build houses for the poor  

  • May: Group’s community service with orphaned and disabled kids  

  • June: Water tower restoration in Cite Soleil  

  • July: Summer activities / arts / craft / literature / academics  

  • August: All students seen by / treated by dentist  

  • September: Additional workshops during closure of schools  

  • October: Celebration of our ten-year anniversary  

  • November: Opening of a home for vulnerable young women  

  • December: Computer lab prepared for opening
