Let’s not just sit and wait… Let’s move!

The news this week out of Haiti is not good. The fuel crisis is making life difficult for everyone. Approximately 50 hospitals shut down because they lack fuel for their generators. There are limited transport options to get to work and food isn't delivered to stores or markets. Violence continues to rise across Port-au-Prince. There was a mass shooting at a school. Over 150 gangs continue to terrorize the city. So far in 2021, over 800 people were kidnapped.

But, we will never give up on our students. They are amazing human beings who happen to live in a time of extreme trouble in Haiti. They deserve all the support they can get. So even though the news this week from Haiti was horrific again, we will not just sit and wait.

We will continue our fight for orphaned young adults. With your help, they will finish their education, learn a trade, and will be able to build stable futures for themselves and contribute to safety in their communities. Please, join our effort, and join any (or all) of our donation-based fitness classes. (details below!)

Let's get moving!

Warmly,
Astrid
